Speaking to German and Austrian audiences far removed from the realities of prison ministry on a foreign continent, Set Free's Kazakhstan program director, Monika, recently shared from personal experience how progress is being achieved in Central Asia and the Lord is touching many lives.

Several conference and meeting organizers invited her to come during the month of April and present the work being carried out within and outside of correctional facilities in Kazakhstan, where Set Free has been active for the past few years.

The plight of those released from prison, orphans and the most vulnerable were at the top of her list as she detailed the humanitarian aid facet of the ministry. Also she highlighted the ongoing Discipling Center program that gives those who had once been incarcerated the opportunity to rehabilitate and be transformed into useful disciples of the Lord Jesus.

The interaction with the conference attendees gave ample chance to share the vision with many individuals on a personal basis as well as challenge the general audiences to consider the great needs in this important region of the world... to encourage each one to reach as many as possible while the door remains open to sharing the Gospel in this key Muslim country.

The interest and enthusiasm shown at the meetings could be just the beginning for some who the Lord might be leading to consider serving alongside Monika and others in the ministry to prisoners and those released from prison in Kazakhstan.
