One outstanding way to help prisoners take advantage of the time they spend incarcerated is by offering them Bible correspondence courses. Since the beginning of Set Free's ministry in Cook County jail in 1971, the Lord has enable us to provide several million courses that the inmates complete and mail back to us for correction.

From California to Kazakhstan, many thousands of prisoners have had their lives changed for eternity as a result of placing their faith in the Lord Jesus after coming into contact with the courses.

Those who choose to study and complete the courses find that their knowledge of God, the Lord Jesus and the Bible grows considerably.  That makes a positive impact both in their own lives and the larger prison community.

We use several different course publishers including Emmaus, Moody Bible Institute and Navigators.
